Why is she sitting there alone?
What thoughts are running through her mind?
What does she need?
What emotion is she feeling?
Journal:
Journaling is a good way to start to become familiar with your internal process. Through journaling you can begin to explore what happened to you, how you perceived what happened to you and the ways in which you coped with what happened to you. Please take a few minutes and do the following journal exercise.
Before you begin journaling make sure you are in a safe, comfortable environment. Be sure to take care of yourself while you do this journal activity.
© Where is She Taking Her Heart
You will be asked to look at 5 pictures and complete the statements that go with each one. There are no right or wrong ways to respond. You may choose to do a different one each day and journal about your responses.
Where is she taking her heart?
Has she ever allowed her heart to be there? Why or why not?
What are her plans to keep her heart safe?
What has she learned in the past that can help her now?

What kinds of storms or chaos is she dealing with?
What strength
does she have inside of her to help her make it through this storm?
What would be encouraging for her to hear?
How will she find peace?

NOTE: This journal exercise will be changed approximately every Friday.
What has caused her to be so stressed?
How does she usually cope with stress?
Is her coping style a healthy one why or why not?
What is she wishing for?
How long has she had this wish?
What other hopes does she have?
What would be encouraging to her?
